University College Cork is pleased to offer Lauritzon Research Scholarship in food science and food-related disciplines. International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.These scholarships aim to support students and integrate them into the academic, social and cultural aspects of University College Cork.UCC was established in 1845 as one of three Queen’s Colleges – at Cork, Galway and Belfast. These new colleges were established in the reign of Queen Victoria and named after her. Queen’s College, Cork (QCC) was established to provide access to higher education in the Irish province of Munster.Students who have attained at least at least Second Class Honours, Grade 1 (or equivalent) in an appropriate degree are eligible to apply for a PhD or MSc Research degree at UCC. The scholarship consists of student stipend of €16,000 and €12,000 towards tuition fees and laboratory consumables. The scholarship is tenable for two or four years; depending on the course of study (i.e. MSc or PhD.
