The Dublin City University aims to lead the world in research and education.The university has a particularly strong research record, is sometimes described as a research-led university, and has regularly been recorded as bringing in more research income per members of faculty – or indeed as a percentage of total income – than any other university in Ireland. Its research team working on sensors at the National Centre for Sensor Research is considered one of the best in the world.Dublin City University is pleased to offer The School of English Dublin City University Doctoral Research Scholarships for the year 2017-2018 academic year. International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Applicants must have a relevant undergraduate degree at first-class honours level or at least 2.1 level. It is desirable that they should hold a relevant Master’s qualification. Candidates who are currently completing a Master’s qualification are welcome to apply.
